I think it may be safe to assume that with the delay in start that there will be changes to the amenities...if built at all.

I wouldn't categorize this as "delayed" the plan going back over a year ago was for this to not be under construction alongside the other 3 buildings.

I don't believe that was the "plan." I think that is simply what happened. A developer does not (usually) announce a project and then "plans" not to do anything with it for a few years.

I have seen so many renderings with greenery all over their designs. But I've never seen any skyscraper in real life with that much luscious greenery all around it.

I've seen some in Singapore. Though it's so humid there I could see trees just spontaneously pop up on buildings also....

Yeah, there are numerous examples of planted skyscrapers in southeast Asia and Australia. There are some in Mediterranean Europe too. Bosco Vertical is an example in Italy.

I think it would be pretty difficult and costly to do that in our climate though.

Looking back I'm guessing the "higher end Hilton brand" was ultimately the Conrad, which -- while not on Rainey proper -- is only a few blocks away from this project.
