Dump trucks and excavator on site today removing the next 3 meters of soil from the pit. Most of the ground floor posts and walls are now poured and the focus is on forming and steel rebar for the 2nd floor slab under the south tower.

Yes, but its 40 floors and at the rate they are going, that will be hard to meet that timeline.

Looks like they have poured a section of 2nd floor slab in the SW corner of the south tower now. Foundation crew progressing now with the next row of horizontal cable bracing into the caisson pit walls. Will probably be starting the next stage of excavation down to bottom depth in a couple of weeks. Might see them use a conveyor belt to remove the soil from that depth as you won't be able to get real heavy equipment down.

9 Storey Podium (middle part) - Occupancy Aug 4/23
40 Storey Building B - Occupancy Mar 7/24
29 Storey Building A - Occupancy May 23/24

Then a month later all Deficiencies should be completed

Not really surprised by this timeline.


They delayed the full pit excavation while waiting on change application to demolish the old law office house which failed.


High water table changed engineering plans and resulted in only 3 underground levels.



CF their main contractor was stretched thin with tower 3 up in Hyde Park and finishing the Mosaik buildings on Sugarcreek.


Pandemic delays across all sub contractors.


Skilled worker shortage in region. Ie: Concrete formers, Steelworkers, General Laborers etc



And now they have CF starting another new building on Morgan Ave in south London. CF does not have a large work force. Drewlo is even smaller with their construction team.

Forming started for 3rd floor slab above parking entrance off Fullerton. Forming 2nd floor walls and posts along south side now. Still working on steel rebar for 2nd floor slab on the north side of the south tower. Drilling and installing the horizontal cable braces into the pit walls at the next depth. Once complete should see pit excavated to final depth and final row of cable braces drilled and installed.
