Nice work!

I hope they fix the thing jutting out in Tower Fifth and these will be a great cluster, hard to believe this could be a reality someday!

350 and 270 really work well together. Not surprising since both would come from the Foster offices.

270, 350, and tower fifth would make the skyline go crazy! Could just call new york done after that, and it'd be insane with that many super talls. Although the more the merrier lol still those 3 towers with that close of vicinity combined with the billionaire row skyscrapers and vanderbilt and ESP would just be crazy. Something near Times Square to close the gaps would be nice too but don't have to get greedy

It's sort of like shooting fish in a barrel but remember after Sept 11 everyone said "the city would never be the same" and many thought a tall building would never be constructed again? That lasted how long?

And it turned out to be just the opposite. Supertall buildings starting springing up like crazy. Even in the US there were proposals for supertalls. I think some of it had to do with people realizing how much those buildings meant to the city as icons, and what they represented.

Long term play. One of many sites. It will rise when the time is right.

Nothing happened to it. It will get built when the buildings are demolished. The buildings will get demolished when the tenants move out. The tenants will move out when the new homes are complete.

As the financial capital of the world, there’s a virtually endless cycle of demand for new space. Indeed, for those who falsely think that working from home is the new norm... It certainly isn’t for Wall Street’s banking powerhouses.

Bring on Black Rock!

Wait, I'm confused, does that mean there is another skyscraper at 345 Park Ave or just 350 Park Ave???

If this tower can be delivered before the redevelopment of Hotel Penn it's probably a done deal. I just wish Silverstein could snag Blackstone or some other large anchor for 2 WTC, but let's be happy for what we can get I suppose.

It's looking more and more like it. I can't think of any other towers of this size with completion dates around that time, and particularly with the landlords involved. Maybe 15 Penn, although that's strictly Vornado. Guess we'll have to wait and see, but that 1 year extension is key for me. If the previous lease expired in 2027, that extra year signals more time for something to be completed in 2028.

I think it was unlikely they would leave Park Avenue for Downtown, or even the west side, unless there were no options. JP Morgan Chase also looked Downtown and to the west side for a new headquarters, but just happened to be in a position to rebuild their own headquarters when terms didn't pan out.

The fact that they stayed with Rudin and signed a short-term lease is unmistakable evidence as to Blackstone's intent to anchor 350 Park. Rudin's prescient comment about meeting their long-term needs makes it crystal clear! I just home that the current design is what's built. I think that it's amazing.

Since it appears that Blackstone will anchor 350 Park, I'd like to see KPMG or Morgan Stanley anchor 175 Park. As 345 Park would be virtually empty, I hope that Rudin razes it and builds a hyper-tower on its site. Under the Midtown East Rezoning, can an owner build a mixed use with hotel and condos? I assume that's the case since that's what RFR is doing at the Hyatt site. Can you imagine a 1,700' tower at 345 Park with 1,000' of office, 200' of 5 star hotel, and 500' at the top of mega-luxury condos?

"Mr. [Rudin]: Take down this wall [of junk]!"
