Because people literally type "people png" into google and grab the first things they find. Unfortunately there's less variety in the easy to grab png images than ideal. I use a site called "nonscandinavia" to get a better variety of people for renderings. Even google searching basic images does have a bias, and architects/renderers are usually in too much of a rush to think much about it.

That happens to be the exact one I'm referencing.

Like most libertarians they "don't see color" apparently. There are multiple black folks in that image.

Do you ever admit you’re wrong? Can you just go away forever? How come you say such idiotic things?

What's your problem? I don't see you adding to the discussion. You go away.

OK let's raise the level of discussion, just a quick additional comment. The bourgeois liberal architects who push out such a cookie cutter shit rendering need to take a step back and put themselves in the framework of reality. What's really going on with Summerhill? Who are the residents? How does this structure address present and future needs of the neighborhood? Is there provision for child and youth activities as well as their upscale renters? How to foster low unemployment? What renovations of existing structures (real stuff, not little tart shops), parks, and street environments? All I've seen so far is a redevelopment dream of the area that seems disjointed and not supportive of or tied with surrounding areas. It would be nice to have something included for nearby and downtown homeless people.

You’re a libertarian but think the landowners for the Braves Redevelopment should be forced to conform to some kind of design platform to force them to integrate well with what exists, whatever that means.... and force them to provide homeless housing.... How is any of that libertarian policy?

Libertarians are the most generous people in this country. Not advocating for government mandates on developers, and also no subsidies and tax carve-outs from public funds to them. However, groups of private citizens like myself should encourage them to community development with a longer term view. Public awareness is the greatest spotlight, and the benefit is to everyone because with quality development the buyers and renters will come. Maybe a few less square feet would be the trade-off.

Enjoying Halfway Crooks Brew Pub tonight. Great place! Full of people with great friendly service, good beer and nice little pies and fries to eat. The Thai Chicken pie is very tasty.

GA Avenue

The renovated buildings are almost fully leased.

The next phase will include new construction at 70 Georgia Ave.

That's great. We're finally getting a trickle of missing middle housing and it seems to be growing. There are so many parcels around in town where I think a development like this would be ideal as opposed to the ubiquitous townhome.
