What will the LCBO do for parking? I don't think the lcbo is included in this lot.

According to Matt Richling, the development might include a Canadian Tire in addition to the Metro. Wish it was included in Moon instead, close to where the CT used to be (where the 2009 Kent Street Minto Place tower is located) to limit the impact on Trudel Home Hardware.

Claridge is starting to name their buildings after toilet paper. Sounds about right.

It would be nice to have an anchor like Canadian Tire on Rideau. Hopefully eventually the space between the Rideau Centre and Canadian Tire will get filled in by other major retailers and Rideau becomes a proper shopping street.

That is not even close to enough parking for that LCBO haha. No street parking nearby either.

Hah, we might as well re-name Rideau to Claridge Street. Downtown = Claridgetown

I like how they are going with 26 and 28 stories here instead of the classic Crapridge 27. It's really going to shake things up on Claridge Street, very avant-garde!

The grey tower on the left of the rendering looks a lot like the first Frontier tower. Barf.

any ideas on why it's being pushed back?

i thought moon was selling well, so probably not sales related.

They need time to find a new design incorporating all the unused materials of their other projects.

In addition to providing an updated render (which is way more consistent and better than previous versions, Claridge's instagram page seems to directly contradict the notion that this has been delayed:

Maybe they are going to start construction for the parking garage and hotel, but still launch the condo tower later?
