Blech. Too many micro-suites. 3 bedrooms in 600ish sqft?

Actually - those are all well laid out.

I doubt anyone would ever use that "3 bed" in 593 sq ft as an actual 3 bedroom unit
- it looks good though as a 1 plus den (that could hold a couple out of town visitors).

There's no long hallways in any of those units.

Yeah I noticed that too.. none of the units had hallways.

I think it was park place or another building that i found the hallway just a waste of sqft. Some developers make good use of a hallway but it is hit or miss.

I think this building is mainly marketed towards students or young adults of that general lifestyle. They're pretty good layout wise for that. A micro-3 for example would be pretty good for a few roommates sharing for example. I dunno, my lifestyle is just not compatible with their target market but again I'm not who they are after.

I think it's actually a good idea to encourage students and the younger generation to buy rather than rent. When I was a student we all rented so you get out of school with no job and student loans, and as you were renting you have no place or equity. With these if you can get the younger generation to buy into them these students will be graduating with at least a place with some equity.

Really? How so? More excavation? Last time I noticed it it was deep enough to probably start the rebar/concrete installation. Maybe a crane soon?

If you look at the renders the tower is right up against university dr. So maybe a 5 meter offset at most. If I'm correct they still have a hell of a lot of excavating to do. As it seems like they haven't even started excavating the area the tower will stand above.

I think the hole is dug where the tower is and the dirt pile is all that is left. Not actually much excavation to go. And from looking at the above image I'd agree they are at the bottom level so you should start see actual construction start soon.

Construction hoarding and signage is set to be going back up soon. It's on the council agenda tonight.
