Rendering for comparison. They showed the spandrels black instead of grey. Doesn't look bad though. Far better than the Becket mentioned on the previous page.

I like that the glass ratio is higher than the spandrels ratio! Not bad at all so far! very encouraging

Yeah looks pretty good in this last pic (the spandrel looks similar colour to the windows so it sorta blends in), not sure if it's just because it was overcast.

Compared to the AC Marriott disaster

This side of Parkdale is sure changing fast. Too bad the Tunney's redevelopment still seems years away from anything happening. Photo taken yesterday.

I really don't like the lack of thought that should have been put into ground floors and street interactions. This is a missed opportunity to create some more main street.

SoHo Parkway's street level is quite terrible. At least the Brigil towers and this one have some retail (though for the Dale, it's not super obvious due to the lack of distinction on the facade and signage) and ground floor units.

Parkdale will end up like a residential tower street (sort of like Laurier west of Lyon), but with some retail, which is a bit of an improvement.

Hopefully Scott will end up being a little more main street-ish.

The higher the cladding goes up on this building the more I like it. Not a fan of the podium finishes as of now but it's Richcraft I still believe they can pull it off nicely.

Hoping the podium will be fully covered with that ribbed material by the end.

Some additional pictures, taken today (October 27, 2023). Balcony glass can be seen going in on the bottom left side of the tower. It has a kind of frosty aquamarine colour to it.

I hope that's not a euphemism for teal.

Interesting. It has always been white in the renders.
