The lower section has panels on now and they are a lighter beige than the taller section. Not much contrast between the two.

Thanks for the information. Is there any chance of getting a picture and posting it. This sounds good to me. I didn't like the green in the renderings.

Thanks for the pictures. The precast panels went on quickly. Is there a difference in color shade of the precast panels between the two sections of the building?

I think this development has turned out better than many people thought that it would.

It's at the link above but unfortunately when I took the video it was at 90 degrees to what it should of been so the video is hardly worth sharing.

Thanks, the quality is very good. People can just turn their screens 90° or tilt their heads 90°.

Are both sections of the building the same shade?

It looks that way. Even the horizontal trim thats suppose to break up the structure is pretty much the same color. I'm not sure I liked the oringinal color selection, but I still think the idea of having both parts different colors was a good idea.

I like the precast concrete color shade - especially when it is wet. This project has some nice details and interesting design.

The project isn't perfect; but I'm getting the impression (after reading more and more staff reports) that they are really making progress on understanding good design, breaking up of massing and things like that. Not to say they didn't before, I think we all have our own opinions on somethings - but there is a more pronounced effort to try to get really good quality development (beyond just accepting what comes along). Personally, not a fan that the parking is so close to the front (I would've hid it in the back) but that's me.

Each project approved; everyone (industry/staff) learn from it and we make more progress. I'm particularly happy with the evaluation staff did on the policy changes over in dartmouth.

I drove past this earlier in the week and it looked like the precast was the same color as the raw concrete pillars. Is there any other tone on this or is it just the natural concrete color?

It is pretty close, the bottom floor is a tad darker, to bad the windows are the same color as well.
