Bah, I've only just now gotten the site to load once, and even then, the CSS failed to load so everything looked wonky.

Edit:

they just friggin closed the website again, argh. getting redirected to http://images.tickets.com/images/tms/vanoc_onsale.html now.. everything is surely gone by now.

This is stupid. I managed to navigate my way to the tickets I want, which are AVAILABLE, without CSS, then when I click to get them... errors!

They've removed ticket sales from www.vancouver2010.com now.

Without the CSS loaded properly, the web page would not work properly.
Someone at Vanoc should really do a cold server restart.

At least they say "higher than usual" and not "higher than expected" as this has happened EVERY SINGLE PHASE.

I think only some servers in the cluster got overloaded.

I think they just turned off the ticketing servers. When you try to load them it goes straight to a "try again later suckers" page with no lag.

It's strange - the message on all my Safari pages is about trying again in phase 2, but the message on all my Firefox pages is the current one about "try again later".

Been able to attempt to log in 4 times now, but not any further...grrr
