There are some very interesting points in the article on both sides of the issue. I definetly agree that the N Temple Viaduct combo would be a great idea, but on the other hand it seems to make sense that everything should funnel through Central Station. I think the quote at the end that if it goes to Central Station people just won't ride it from the Airport, is just a weak argument against the 600 W route.
While I'm not happy that we built a new train station when Boyer could have done a fantastic reuse of the UP station at Gateway including Front Runner and Traxx, I am glad that Central Station has been built as a Transit Center.
I also can see that the citizens might be upset about a bridge, while I'm sure they imagine it being a much larger struture than it will be, they still have a genuine right to be concerned.
It's a tough call, I wish Council the best on this decision.
