London drivers who can't read signs are a problem everywhere.

I've lost track of the number of drivers making right turns off King St onto Richmond and Wellington where those are now prohibited due to the BRT lane. They are blissfully ignorant of the do not turn signs or simply don't care.

Ignorant because it's only been parts of the last couple years where you couldn't make those turns after they first put the signs up (and then covered them up). And mostly they don't care. Nothing in the BRT lane, so no harm no foul. Not sure that's something I would get worked up over myself. It was only recently that you could access York from Clarence. Before that, you come down King, let's say from the Market. You can't turn right on to Richmond. Then you couldn't turn right onto Clarence because it was closed at York, then you can't turn right at Wellington because of BRT same as Richmond. Then if you went right on Waterloo and right on York, then York was closed, and all you want to do is go south on Richmond past Horton and now you are all the way over to Colborne trying to get across the tracks (or sitting in a long left turn at York and Wellington). I don't blame anyone for turning right illegally on Richmond either. At least now Clarence and York is open so hopefully people will learn, even though it's still rather nonsensical to have to make 2 rights and a left and drive 2 extra blocks to accomplish what a single right would do. Hopefully someday there will be enough buses in those bus lanes for people to realize they can't use them.

I just assume that York Street, or parts of it, are always going to be closed. Because York Street, or parts of it, are always closed.

London Hydro crews have been busy installing new hydro poles along the south side of Kilally Rd west of Clark Rd. These poles are set back about 6m from the current line of poles to accommodate the upcoming road improvements.

There's been a number of issues with railway crossings as of late. Both today and yesterday at rush hour, the rail crossing at Commissioners and Adelaide had it's gates down for 2 hours or more without any train coming. I got stuck there for nearly an hour today before turning around. No good alternatives as Thompson/Base Line was bumper to bumper with everything diverting. Pond Mills/Southdale the same.

With Highbury under repairs and Wellington about to be torn up for BRT work, minor issues like this turn into major headaches. Give yourselves even more time than you think.

Speaking of Highbury- it will be fully closed tomorrow for annual garbage removal.

Oxford St West in front of Fleetway 40 is down to 2 lanes as they work on the Mud Creek remediation project. Not sure how long this is planned for.
