It's coming. That one is the slowest starter yet.

Hopefully. That and 98 14th are the two biggest projects I'm looking forward to this decade, at least in the Midtown submarket.

98 14th isn't on the short term. Greystar and Eviva are.

That is great news. Fuqua's site plan was such a waste of an amazing site. Some of the best views in Atlanta (if not best).

With AMLI, the hotel, Ascent, Spring, and Skyhouse, seems like Arts Center MARTA may become more active With a little foresight, we may attract people to spend more time in this less frequented pocket of Midtown. Would love for there to be more dining selections with close proximity to the High Museum to create a respectable cultural node in this part of town. Would also provide options to all of those who live between 10th & 14th to go somewhere in Midtown besides Crescent or below 10th.

Plus the lowrise apartments at Spring and 16th. We're talking about plopping a couple thousand people into half a dozen city blocks in the next 24ish months. I think it's inevitable this becomes yet another highly vibrant stretch of Midtown in short order. Especially once the Whole Foods opens up.

It is substantially similar. The parking deck design has changed, though I don't know if it is final. The green glass balconies are now primarily on the south and east faces, wrapping a little to the north but not on the majority of that facade.

So in other words, it's worse....typical. Still, infill is infill I guess and that's the last development needed for that area to be near 100% build out.

Any idea on the revised height? The rumor had it shrinking a bit.

Why would they only put the interesting green elements on two sides of the building I wonder? Especially if one of those sides doesn't face Peachtree?

Also, any idea what the changes are to the parking deck/base? That's also what was so attractive in the original design in my opinion.

Should this thread be renamed the Eviva Thread?

I think it is unfair to draw conclusions about a design based solely on a description sans any renders

There are new traffic signals at West Peachtree and 8th (Alta Midtown). 8th is being converted to a two-way street. I think that was mentioned in a long-term plan somewhere but I didn't realize it was already happening. Hopefully 7th won't be far behind.

Hopefully West Peachtree itself won't be far behind either.
