It was more to show Stantec, but the diagram is not perfectly accurate.

Love them skinny towers, such an elegant and futuristic look... I wish property values and height restrictions in Montreal were such that our city could support at least ONE tower with these types of dimensions.

I'll have to settle for this handsome old man.

You think One Bloor is skinny?

I don't classify One Bloor as 'skinny' either, but rather 'slim'. Skinny buildings for me include 1 King West, RCMI, Theatre Park, 432 Park, etc.

You think those are thin then come out to Vancouver.

Of course you get use to them but when I go back east and see the buildings and then return you realize just how incredibly skinny Vancouver buildings are.

huWell yeah, I think from a distance One Bloor looks pretty slim, but actually it is the second biggest condo in the city after Aura and it is going to (along with the One) define the intersection of Yonge-Bloor. Trust me I can't wait for these two hulking skyscrapers to frame the intersection on Yonge. From any distance they will have a very slim ratio.

That last one is an amazing rendering. Edmonton's downtown focal point has just shifted.

Yeah, usually we see the initial renderings being the nicest ones and then it's often a question of how much the design gets scaled back... but if anything, this round of revised drawings for the new ICE district towers is a real improvement.

Looks good!

Brookfield Place - 247 meters - 56 storeys

The curve of the corners is starting to get quite pronounced...

Rounded corners on Brookfield Place are sweet.

Ya, a little jealous of that tower. If only BA 2 had done that.

Yeah, but BA2 is a throwaway tower. Not really tall enough(196 m) for a design change to make a big impact.

The twin tower thing with its big brother(218m), EY Tower (188m) and INDX (178m) will have a cool compounding effect in the Financial District. Certainly an area that needed an update in addition to getting beefed up.
