I took some pics during the really nice days, a few of the Legacy crane going up on Friday, I was off and it was just the right time and place.

Here is downtown from the 183/Mopac, you can bearly see the crane for Spring, the Monarch and you can see 360 and its high crane, it looks so far away from downtown from this angle but it will stand out.

Also here is a panoramic of Downtown from the new park atop the round mound hill.

^ Damn dude, you must have just missed me at Town Lake Park! I was there that day, and that Mustang in your panorama was parked there when I was there. Cool pics by the way.

Here are a few shots of downtown and the growing skyline taken yesterday, which was as clear and crisp as they get....

From atop Mt Bonnell, 360 has added dramatically to the skyline at this vantage point..

360 (left) and Monarch (right)

downtown core...

Dusk shot from Shepperd Mountain

Additional Mt Bonnell scenery... looking north toward Loop 360/Pennybacker Bridge and Shepperd Mountain.

Beautiful photos and views Mopacs! Nice. It's been a while since I've been up there, so that was cool to see. You should post those in the main city photos section.

21c Sales office opens on 10/29. It looked pretty impressive inside, as I walked by earlier. They have some extravagant chandeliers in there!

So the W could wind up being nearly as tall at the roof (sans spire) of 360 before all is said and done.

They've topped off the 42nd floor and are just about to put on the floor for the 43rd floor. The columns are already up for it. After that, just one more floor.

I thought I read somewhere that the 44th floor penthouses were actually 2-story lofts, bringing the total up to 45? Perhaps I heard wrong. In any event, this building has had a dramatic effect on the skyline, as it is. I cannot wait until the remaing projects/proposals come about.

Mopacs,

I didn't see inside the 21c sales office, just peeked in the windows. They probably have a model as everyone else has one too. Also great pics! Those pics at mount bonnell at sunset look awesome! You know that is one of the things that I really like about this city.... We actually have seasons here!! In a matter of weeks a lot of the trees on 2222 towards the lake will have changed color in to deep reds, oranges, and yellows.

Complex01,

Is that the new ISOS 6 by Tiesto? How is it? I've heard a lot of really good things about that CD.

The penthouses are on the 43rd floor. The 2nd story lofts will be the 44th and it will only be over the 2 penthouse units on the south end of the building.

I walked by today at lunch but it wasn't open. I did the same as you, peeked in all the windows, but didn't see any model.

My wife said, "Man, they built this office fast. They should hire them to work on our condo!"

I nosed around in the sales office twice last week. Both times I got caught before I made it to the back.... but form what I saw there was not a model yet. The office officially opens on the 29th!
