The core will rise to street level very early next year. By this time next year the tower base will be rising to the first office floor.

Things are finally looking up, in more ways than one. Literally and figuratively.

Well, at least the first half of Ground Zero is getting fully underway with the Freedom Tower and the memorial.

The other half, I think, is still being prepped, but the new permenant PATH Station is underway as well.

See, it was a long wait, but now things are turning into high gear and progress is clearly being made. The development of the core is fully taking shape, and it should only be a matter of time until steel is rising.

December is not that far off. It will make for an excellent Christmas present!

Yeah, Ground Zero is STILL one of New York Ciy's main tourist attractions, even though the Twins no longer stand.

Almost as if they were still standing there! But they can watch history in the making, as the land is about to be hustling and bustling with constr. equipment all over the place.

And 7 WTC seems to almost blend in with the blue sky on bright sunny days! Especially on the sides that the sun shine on. Timeless!

Nice update pics Carlos. It is nice to see some actual progress that we can somewhat measure. Most of the progress thus far has been hard for some of us to gauge.

As the bottom pic shows, the tower's structural height is just as tall as the old Twins, yet some people at other sites still continue to constantly whine for the Twins to be rebuilt.

Great work, Carlos!!!

Is 7WTC occupied by tenants yet? Or is the inside not quite finished?

There's been weather and webcam issues for the past 2 weeks, so the second half of August isn't pretty.

7 WTC DOES have tenants. Not sure if the tower is fully occupied yet, but there ARE some tenants in there.

And it should be finished. It opened a year ago.
