^^^ Agreed great points, not to mention the Rome suspension...

Dished out by someone whose son was playing for the Bruins...

But there were suspect decisions forced down by ownership following the 2011 loss.

The moment I realized I was being conned:

Not only did Marchand not get a penalty, Daniel got an unsportsmanlike penalty for asking why nothing was called.
that's both bullshit and sad. Sedins class act, proud to have watched them for the last 18 years!

i'm sad that they didn't get a championship

someone needs to knock that rat, marchand out.

Sad to see the Sedins go, I was a big fan of them both on and off the ice. Echo the comments about the ownership group. I've only been to a handful of games post 2011 and all of them freebies, even then I've turned down more games then those I've been to. Might be good to have local ownership, just unfortunate on how our ownership acts.

Maybe the family can keep their investment in the club by just dumping Francesco but I seriously doubt he will survive this once everything comes out in court. Onni/Pinnacle still survived after the ****show with the De Cotiis family so maybe there's hope for the business.

We get a title shot roughly every 18 years... see you in 2030?

That wasn't the finals. The Canucks make the playoffs without going to the Cup finals.

Not this year, obviously. 1994, 2012... so, 2030.

They went to the finals in 82, 94, and 2011. Not sure what point you are trying to make.

12 years from their debut in the NHL to 1982. 12 years from 1982 to 1994. 17 years from 1994 to 2011. So 17 years again? 2028? Only Pettersson and Miller are signed until then right now (and of course the buyout for OEL too).

Well 1994 - 2011 was a 17 year gap so if they make the finals before 2028 they would have done better than the previous gap. The window is indeed the next four years anyhow - I'd call it a success if we can make a finals appearance at least once within the next four seasons.

The Canucks haven't been worth following at all since 2015, and outside of a blip in interest during the COVID playoffs this is finally a reason to care again.
