RDW989 above posting is suggesting, that by the end of day tomorrow the derrick crane will be gone.
Ok, we had a stiffleg derrick crane take down a tower crane, a derrick crane take down a stiffleg derrick crane and a baby derrick crane take down a derrick crane, talk about a matryoshka nesting doll effect.

This afternoon

Today

It's going to take some getting used to, when looking out my window and not seeing any construction cranes sticking out of the top of this tower.
All parts of the Derrick Crane were lowered to the back alley.

Out of all the disassembling for the past two weeks, this was the only time it had one running for cover.

Pics by me tonight of the rarely seen north side.
For the landings, the variation in depth and the tree planters seem to be missing.
Probably good since the north side won't get as much sun.
I think someone mentioned that there's a long planter forming the railing?

The second and third picture in this Post #1491 I believe those are planters for the Northside, If they are planters probably for shrubs or flower bed.

Yes, only one. Need to have a closer look. I'll zoom in on it tomorrow and see how much life it's gotten since first sight Post#1608

The breezeway section looks so much better on the Northside than the bolted glass panels on the south...wow.

Definitely more uniformity in the cladding on the north side.

Awesome work on the timelapse! You put a lot of time and effort into that, and I appreciate it! Loved the plane and bird sightings - all we missed was Superman.

I agree - it will take some getting used to - I can see the top of the tower from our front door, and it feels so... empty now.

The first window you see at the roofline of St-Paul's Hospital is the 12th floor, there are two more planters below my sight-line. Some of those trees might be on those floor.

This afternoon

I don't like the color of the leaves on this type of tree.
The other trees to be planted (or are planted on the 2 floor below my sight line) have a green foliage which will stand out better in this breezeway.

I looked for other things to show in real-time but only noticed after the video was publish, like drone sightings, there are 3 sightings of a drone buzzing around, don't blink, it's in time-lapse, so its very brief

It's getting a washdown.
They started the washdown on this Southwest wing last week, going from left to right (West to East).
It is noticeably whiter (cleaner) went in the sun.

Nice.
Thanks for the update.
Agreed about the red foliage being less visible versus green foliage.
