How much taller is the sail going to get? Honestly kind of disappointed with the height from afar at this point.

I would have preferred this building to continue higher until it narrows to a point. But, honestly, this building is still pretty predominant as it is. Even though it's not as tall, it's more dominant than the Independent.

Yeah, I wish this thing had continued past 600 feet. Let the top floor with the smallest floorplate be a public observation deck. It seems like missed opportunities is a hallmark of Austin.

I noticed the lack of traffic on Congress and the tons of empty parking spaces. Also, I wonder if enragedcamel works at one of those dental implant places, seeing how he is promoting no more gaps.

Long shadows from east says it was a fairly early morning shot. Not too many early morning businesses on South Congress. Might have been a weekend too, so not much commuting.

Ha! A little corny but I like it. A for effort.
I also love their username. Makes me think of a literal camel who gets pissed at tourists getting close and spits at them, LOL

In my defense, my boxes are less boring than some of the highrises that have been proposed recently...

Boring? The boxes look like Twistisauga to me. In all seriousness, most of the gaps (at least on the west side of Congress) are due to CVCs.
