The reason they didnt announce a name is cause they are still going to study it, I think.

Don't hold onto the Ex-Gf though...

But it IS a possibility Jets can still be used

Well its been a long time since I've posted here, but I guess today is an exception.

Welcome back to the NHL WINNIPEG!

Here is the link to the new ticket sales office:

http://www.driveto13.com/

Mean ticket of $83 (according to TSN), which will be the third highest in the NHL.

How do these package prices compare to other Canadian NHL cities?

* Winnipeg: $39 - $129
* Ottawa: $29 - $141
* Edmonton: $30 - $176
* Calgary: $34 - $180

I predict the top selling game will be Winnipeg versus Phoenix! Now that will be quite the game!

Hopefully I'll be able to catch my Oilers play the Winnipeg team in the MTS Centre one day.

Winnipeg will be my second team as long as you guys are in the Southeast division... When you move into the Northwest, we'll see how it goes. I can tell you now that it doesn't look good!

Playing the Southeast has its perks though. You guys will get to see Ovechkin, Crosby, Staal, Stamkos... nice.

Congrats again, Winnipeg. You guys have been waiting far too long. Enjoy this, and please don't let 1996 happen all over again.

Alright, what have you done with the real Gary Bettman?

Congratulations Winnipeg. I am glad to have the Jets back.

Alright. Is it just me or is the free press always overrun by trolls. There seems to be a pattern with which Winnipegers attending the site poll negatively daily. Every time there is a poll regarding money or anything positive, people poll negatively. Today 26 percent will not buy season tix and 20 percent will never attend a game. I am currently living in SW Ontario (visiting Winnipeg for 3 weeks) and I have considered buying partial season tix. That is sad.

Are they getting first dibs on tickets? If so, that's the way it should be. They supported the sport.

Current moose season ticket holders get first dibs. From what I hear there is about 2500, and they are allowed to purchase up to two season tickets. http://www.driveto13.com/ Official season ticket website.

I doubt that there are that many Moose seasons ticket holders.

Unless the game pack holders get seasons tickets dibs too. Then there could be a lot more buyers.

That said. I suspect many Moose supporters will be moving from the lower bowl to the upper deck seats anyways.

I never liked the Moose or the farm team league concept but I got tickets the past few years knowing we would have first crack at NHL. There will still be room in the lower bowl for you Viking...a few rows behind me that is.

a bit of a negative blah article from Thomson's paper the Globe and Mail. The tone is similar to what I eluded to yesterday. Anyhow, we have to make this work in Winnipeg. Nothing is guaranteed. I want to enjoy this for a long time.
