Some of them are, some of them aren't. I check this thread at least once a day, and from what I can tell, what the PA/architects have decided to do with the base cladding has either been a) decided and not announced or b) not decided. No news or even rumors have circulated yet as to the solution they're proposing. Only speculation. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's where we stand on the base cladding: no updates as of yet.

Well you should pay more attention then, it was already posted a while back:

I say the same every year (for the last 5 years) when I come to this thread and expect some descent progress (in comparison to every other country in the world).
I could have built this quicker if I made it from matchsticks!
But then again, I'm going from this thread to see how the Chicago Spire's getting on, which I haven't checked in on for 3 years...but I'm sure they've built that already...

How are glass fins going to solve the problem that they had with the previous design? They're both glass, so wouldn't the fins still shatter in a bomb blast?
