Interesting. So what does this mean for Canadian Blood Services? Maybe this is why they are planning to move into the former Brewster's location on Albert South (much smaller space) as they won't be doing blood donor clinics?

Plasma is a component of blood so I think Canadian Blood Services will still continue to take blood donations. I’m guessing plasma is harder to get than blood.

Given that Canada imports about 80% of our plasma I don't think we should be complaining about this.

Does anyone have any info regarding the remainder of the ground floor at the Cornwall that used to be Sears? It looks like an additional wing of the mall could exist beyond the new Ardene location, but I've heard nothing.

My hope and guesses for that hope would be:

Winners, Goodlife or a grocery store.

Rochdale east

Looks like prep is underway for something on the north side of Rochdale, near the new Birmingham's; anyone know what it is?

Maybe another Tim Hortons. Have to have them right across the street from each other to catch both flows of traffic lol. Seriously though, probably another fast food or strip mall setting.

Well that logo and design certainly isn't inspired.

I'm not being critical of your comment, I'm just curious what your idea of an inspired logo and design should look like?

I mean something that doesn't look like a Vegas strip club. Literally all of the other cannabis shops in Regina have better branding than that. Wiid is a local joint and it has better branding.

I actually love the Vegas lighting. Lol. Nothing else in Regina other than the Capitol looks like that.

Ya it reminded me of the Capital sign which of course is no longer a thing. I'm just happy there's another cannabis option for us in the south end.

The sign is fine. It's 'in-your-face', humourous, and it gets noticed. This is their corporate branding (10 stores open, 6 to open soon) across parts of Canada.

What I find sad is the ugly wrap covering the windows and doors. Are window/door coverings for pot shops required by law in Saskatchewan? I remember when I was a kid in the 60's that bars had to have their windows covered. You know, you can't make it look too appealing to the kiddies

The logo and signage is mediocre, but the most offensive thing about that picture is the overall design of the building. I hate the modern look of combined corrugated steel, brick, and stucco/cement.

Maybe cooling off after being in the sun? Today I was waiting outside a medical building for my wife and I sat on the concrete in the shade for a bit, rather than keep my car running for the AC.
