I changed the circles after your post - agreed with the stagger and the grid lining up one floor apart.

The stairway opening makes sense, but that opening seems to be on the angled out part.

Lots of window panels being delivered for the office tower today

Toyota Dealership glazing nearing completion
For the workers it's nice to have the work area enclosed for the winter season.

Both the Office and One Burrard are do for a pour.
Maybe a Saturday for each one. The Office Tower will finally be top off.

Agreed. Dome shape was tired and old.

Part of the joy of living in a growing City is to see new, tall towers spring up across the skyline.

Office Tower roof top concrete pour today

Yes, lots great postings, thanks.

I believe they set down only a portion of the roofs concrete slab today. Once it dries, they'll move material on to it, then finish the pour (maybe Saturday).
Edit: I just noticed after watching the video a few moments ago that the roof is completed. You can see the worker is stripping the formwork from the edges of the roof.
They must be patching the area where the concrete placing boom was.

They were flying rebar for One Burrard today, prepping for a pour there soon.

I love in this shot how dominant the main tower really is. You don't grasp it from street level how much above everything else it rises. That area has truly transformed and will continue to.

Any word on the second residential tower?

The fin straightens out for the 53rd floor. The floor plate here is for the 54th floor. I'm fascinated by all the staging and formwork placed and hanging from all edges at that height, somebody knows what they're doing.

The show home centre is still on site. Doint think anything will happen until it is demolished.
