Looks great! kent looks huge. I try and never post empty shots. I think it ruins a nice picture. What if you see a pic of new York where half the city
is white?

I'm at a loss with you guys, your being ridiculous. No one cares about just one shot, and all these cities are really not realistic looking at all, so what the big deal is I don't know.

Old Staunton! This is the first Staunton ever, I believe only Foxmtbr and CGII have witnessed. The thread is long gone, so are all the renders

Those are great views of the skyline, you really get a sense of it's scale.

Great shots , i agree with the no white spaces mainly because the area in focus you will eventually show pics of later - best to wait and show a full shot

I hope one day you do some sort of complete overview of Staunton , even make a book ?

Oh Sketchup how you've taught me to hate again.

Well obviously I'm not updating as much as I used to, I've noticed with the slowdown of my work on Staunton has made me appreciate life more, until opening it up tonight and ruining another once good mood. When's version 7 coming out? maybe it can run faster, maybe the shadows can be improved.

Ganton View

A neighborhood close to the TriBECA and Soho of NYC, (gotta find names for Staunton's hoods) but Granton View is a neighborhood marking the transition from Downtown to Central Staunton.

Many of the older buildings are being converted into lofts. To the left is the secretive United Defense Systems Building, currently in the process of moving its offices to a more secretive location in suburbia. Center is the Cartyle Hotel and Wentworth Building, to the right is the 1001 Wakefield Street, currently under conversion to the Wentworth Lofts.

Another look in its proximity to downtown.

Looks great Patrick, glad to see an update. The buildings flow well, which is something you are very good at accomplishing. That is one of the qualities that make Staunton a city you look at and question wether it is real or not.

Thanks!

The re-textured (done a while ago) three towered Collin's Center, including the Slovak Building, Clark Foundation Building, and Collins Center Lindham Suites Hotel, viewed from the Staunton Island Ferry.

Dont mind this, just some company names I came up with, but have no buildings to label with them yet, so they're just here in case I forget.

- Horton Enterprises
- Bloyd Entertainment
- Callahan Communications
- Allied American Industries

Staunton just loves big greedy companies.

wow,I really love those matching towers you put with the conention center. Slovak is one ugly beast, but it fits in well.

today,I saw a 10-13 story building that looked exactly like Kyat.

Edi;after seeing what treres said, I wanna see more Lloyd!

I love this shot. It's so reminiscent of New York City, with it's slender art deco towers, punctuating a malaise of light sixties modernism, and heavy, ponderous 70's corporate mega-boxes.

It so real! and great because of it.
