Cool to see this in early site prep phases along with 1 Vanderbilt. Always interesting when these things get to actual construction.

I know, i'm lying in bed at night thinking about how the tower will look, and some of the other big ones that could happen. I think the view from the river looking east will be pretty incredible bc the density from that vantage point is already so sick, and this will make it sooo 21st century.

The unobstructed view from the river will be amazing. Very few cities have anything like it as the Chicago River is not that wide and has no huge ship docks lining it. Let's hope Related also does the old Spire site justice.

Hopefully it's banana time tomorrow, I don't see case just sitting there when theyve finished deployment of their equipment. Also did those old crane mounted rigs become a thing of the past? It seems all the contractors have switched over to the specialized drilling equipment you see out there now. When was the last time we saw the big old diesel motor mounts used?

After my heart got crushed by the Spire and cheated on by Waterview, I ain't got no bananas in me until I see a crane jump around the 73rd floor.

Talk about being illogical about 3 different independent projects/events.

A crane mounted one was used for 151 N Franklin a few months ago.
