Yeah, it would make a good Professor Xavier's school too. If they did use the house as a setting for a movie they would probably use the house for establishing shots and film estate scenes elsewhere.

Grand Victorian in Detroit's Corktown, once home of a Tigers owner, for sale for almost $2 million

According to Zillow, the Victorian house was built in 1880. Zillow doesn't have info on the duplex, but an educated guess it that it was likely built in between 1890 and 1910.
