other than the colburn proj & the apt bldg in little tokyo, not sure how much more will be u/c in dtla over the next 2, 3 yrs. The broad museum is being added to but that's not a totally new proj.

hey, my recent post on the new veterans apt bldg rising in little tokyo sure did seem to fit the purpose of this threat....speaking of which, I wonder what's going on with this condo bldg a few blocks south?....

^ that proj was delayed for a long time, then was again u/c, then slowed down around 2020, 2021. It had a different name just about a yr or two ago....don't recall what it was. All the delays in completing it & changes in sales managers makes me wonder if their funders are having problems. Onni has slowed down its work in LA too, including the towers planned for the site of the old LA Times bldg.
the beaudry apt tower at 8th & Fig lists around 25 apts still for lease....the mitsui apt bldg when it opened across the street in 2024 has always seemed to be well occupied...like to think that will encourage mitsui to break ground on their apt tower at 8th & Hope/Grand across from the Whole Foods mkt.
btw, if posting in this forum has to follow very narrow guidelines, it will become even less active than it already is....the rate of new devlpt & even proposals for dtla in the past yr has already slowed way down.
