ARG has won it twice already, unless you mean a new non-incumbent champion. It would actually be more special if France won it again back-to-back since it hasn't happened in 60 years.

You might want to let the Croatian fans in Hamilton know then. They were out driving around with their flags and doing some light horn honking right after the game. It's nothing like what Italian fans do when Italy wins a friendly against special Olympics teams with 3rd string players... but still.

No way, did you even watch it? There was a lot of passion and energy on both sides and some great football was displayed the first half.

Top 4 finishes are held in pretty high regard in WC lore and it matters whether you were third or fourth.
