My pics today as well.
Glass installation has resumed on the angled facades following the installation of the cables and collars
around the cuolumns used as supports for them. A couple of panels seem to have leaks/condensation between the panes.
Steel superstructure added to the southwest rooftop.
Two balcony railings added - one on a south facing balcony, the other on a corner balcony. A bit plain looking.

I think the rooftop "wings" on this building are what will really distinguish this building from all others in Vancouver both in terms of design and in terms of height. Without them, this building would be the same height as One Wall Center. It's unusual geometric shape also adds to it's architectural prowess. I also really like the contrast between it and the old Georgia. Overall, this building is clearly a

When it's finished, the overall effect will most likely draw attention away from the flaws.

the white spandrel on the north side doesn't look so bad anymore. i think they've done an amazing job. i noticed yesterday that they installed a ton of flood lights on the old building. it's going to look great at night.
surprised there aren't any pictures here of the base of the new tower but it looks really sharp. i'll try to get some pics next time i walk by.

here's some recent photos from www.globalairphotos.com

Love the greening of the roof on the hotel. Looks like the roof on the shaft might also see some greening.

The office portion and portico entrance looks great as does the new entrance to the hotel.

As long as Vancouver retains its substantial film industry, I'll bet anyone this tower makes it into film.

I'll take that bet!

But seriously, I love this building. Another small step towards tower diversity downtown...

My one and only reservation about this tower is the colour of the spandrel on the protruding square parts. The colour's the problem: it's a nice blue, but it doesn't complement, match, or harmonize well with any immediate stricture, either the Georgia itself, or the adjacent HSBC, or even Cathedral Square.

Otherwise, I'm an enthusiastic follower of this thread; love 'dat buildin'!
