The Georgia St. side is pretty much all finished, with the restaurant soon to open, and all the signage up, including the canopy trim I mentioned.

Hawksworth is opening in 4-6 weeks.
This is probably old news to some but heard from a good source that there was a nightclub opening in the basement and a cafe at street level. I asked about the rumored Prada store opening in the retail and there is no plans for that...just rumors.

Cant wait till its all done!

^Yeah I mentioned a couple months back... Hawksworth Restaurant & Cafe are taking all of the available street-level retail/commercial. No Prada or anything else.

The only other thing on that main floor would I guess be the lobby bar. I wonder if the "night club" you speak of is the jazz lounge?

there was always a nightclub in the basement of the old one, it would make a great jazz lounge

I seem to remember a pub called the King George or something there about 15 - 20 years ago?

I think around 1999/2000 it was The Chameleon. Was a cool place.

My sources say that they would've liked the restaurant open already and that if it's not opened by the long weekend they will be disappointed.

Heres a link which has a couple dozen pics of the restaurant, as you can see it's substantially complete already, just waiting on finishing touches.

Hi, first post here, and have read through all 80 pages, some excellent info here.

Looking forward to see this place finally open.

I have a friend who is working in the Hotel and I will ask him a few questions to see if i can get some information out of him.

Restaurant looks fantastic ! ! !

Restaurant has opened today for VIP guests and will be open to the public on May 16th

As I was walking by this morning there is people in there eating and a sign on the door stating the opening date and hours.
