While I like this development greatly, if that render is accurate it is not even going to be taller than Atlantic House.

If you look at the rendering closely there's nothing in it that's really to the right scale, look at how tall they have Sky house for example we know 1105 isn't going to be the same height as Sky house.

I've seen other renderings that show it clearly taller than Atlantic House. Its possible those renderings are not accurate either, but this one is clearly incorrect as Sky House is definitely out of scale. Interestingly, the original poster responded to a question and stated that the height is 407.

Atlantic House is 4 feet taller.

AH = 411 ft
1105 = 407 ft

How is an office building with the same number of floors 4 ft shorter than a residential building?

Makes me wonder if Midtown will continue to fill in, but won’t have much alteration to the crowns/jewels among the top of its skyline. 1125 Peachtree was also shorter than expected. Midtown is getting great infill, but certainly missing out on 40-50 story buildings that would have a bigger skyline impact. I care much more about walkability, even so it’s be nice for a few taller projects with a crown.

it is 27 stories + a crown? that is less than 15 feet per floor. Reasonable, I guess.

I read from multiple sources it was 31 stories plus the crown so I’m not sure.

Yes it's 31 stories. But this is straight from the architect's mouth, "1105 is approximately 31 stories and 407’ tall when measured to the highest crown."

Something is not quite right with that project animation. It seems that the project office tower is practically the same height as the 23 story Sky-House apartment tower across the street.

i think they just rushed the renderings of the surrounding buildings. it's another +100' taller than skyhouse (295') about the same height as atlantic house at 411'

I did not realize Atlantic House was over 400’. If so then the render is accurate I would say.

I'm not sure if Atlantic house is really over 400 feet I read somewhere where they estimated it to be 411 ft but that's just an estimate I always felt like it was in the 370 to 380 foot range similar to Atlantic Center the shorter building across the street which is 370 ft tall

Even if 1105 W. Peachtree is roughly the same height as Atlantic House, 1105 is on a slightly higher elevation so it's probably going to appear slightly taller.

We will have to wait until we see elevations because this statement really doesn’t make sense. The building appears to have a substantial parapet/crown. 31 stories and 407’ doesn’t make sense to me honestly. The building appears to be 27 in all the renders. I’m confused for sure but if the video wasn’t correct they should have never released it. It makes the building look substantially shorter than what it should be.

FYI, there's no such thing as a render. Google it and see what you come up with.

Regarding the height of the office tower, I distinctly remember 1075 Peachtree being described as a 40+ story tower when its actually has just 38 floors above ground. This architect may be doing the same with 1105 by including below grade levels in the total floor count while the tower has around 27 floors above ground. Plus the fact that the renderings in the video are clearly not to scale.
