Any links to the renderings... I think the HRM links are broken.

This building is going to be huge for the area!

Does anyone remember if the strip mall beside the hole being dug is coming down too to make way for this development?

I wish this was extending all the way to agricola because the small parking behind it looks like an odd fit now

It is great to see some pictures. I had forgotten that this was under construction.

The tower is up, boom is assembled on the ground, no sign of the Irving mobile crane though.

Normally I do not post about what I see in AllNovaScotia but they had a new rendering for this project and it looks a lot better than the one used during public consultation. The building will be 140 units, with 7 of them affordable, and be completed in mid-2016.

You can tell it is an artist's conception because there are no power poles and wires strung off them to ruin the view.

I don't wanna be the ultra-negative guy, but is still looks pretty clunky and tacky (IMO) and about 15 years out of date. Really over-designed, with all the clashing cladding materials, colours, design elements and a mismatch between tower and podium. The density will be great, but I'm more excited about some of the smaller infill projects to the south, simply because they look more promising, design-wise.

Agreed. I don't mind the tower so much, but the podium is hideous.
