Awesome time lapse project. Showing the dynamic streets and cityscape. Make sure sound is on, song goes
well with it.

Video Link

Truely the best American urban experience. Unparallel beauty.

And older one but a fantastic video. Manhattan on motion.
Again, with sound on. Feast your eyes and ears on a city in motion.

People watching and overcrowded:

Lots and lots of people watching. Various clips from a uptown/downtown tour. Video does a great job of showing the street life in tons of neighborhoods.

Starts off in TS, works it way to MSG, to downtown, on the West Side Highway, to UWS, Harlem, back to Midtown North and so on. All fast forwarded.

^^^^^

I love that last shot. I was always a fan of street crossing pics. The ones that show the density, the traffic, the 1000's of pedestrians, the gridlock.

Especially framed by the canyons of Manhattan. This thread is sort of my tribute to the vibrancy of Manhattan, the busy streets and pedestrians, like all of these photographers getting together to collaborate on one big book. Life happens on the streets of New York. Everybody has to get out there at some point, rich or poor. It can sometimes get crowded, but that's life in the big city. You can see almost anything - whether you want to or not.
