Alright! It's starting to look like San Antonio circa 1998.

Is anyone planning to render the Embassy Suites? I'd kinda like to see what impact its going to make in that area. I'm also wondering if we shouldn't severely jump the gun and do Vidorra 2 and a couple more hotels for Rivercenter

^They also approved my Crowne Plaza and BOA Plaza buildings for the 3D buildings layer.

@Oldmanshirt: I'd like to do the Embassy Suites if I can get some good renders. Anyone know of any? I'm also gonna try my hand at that Aloft.

Just finished one of my faves:

Ugly yes, but nicely done. I see the Majestic Theater back there too. What about the Grand Hyatt?

(Small detail. I noticed that the building next to the Tower Life has brown windows. I'm not complaining. You've done a magnificent job... just pointing it out.)

Jack, I think those brown windows are on a parking garage. All of my textures are photo-based, so that's probably what they look like.

Did two more-- the Westin Riverwalk Hotel block and One Riverwalk Place:

Awesome! The quality of these is great. That one of One Riverwalk Place especially. It's like photo quality.

Thanks everyone! I had time to do another one and hopefully make the skyline a little more up-to-date, Hotel Contessa. This guy was complicated.

I may not have time to do any more for a bit (I usually do them while watching tv after work) 'cause I'm beginning this year's round of job applications, but there will be more eventually.

Nice! As always. Can you post a shot or two of the whole SA skyline as you have it? I'd love to see it.

Here's an update on the GH. Just need to finish the backside then it'll be ready. Notice how in one of the pics the base overlaps the convention center? That's because whoever did the convention center made it extend too much past the Lila Cockrell Theater

Looks great! Very nice. Will def. help modernize the skyline.

And yeah, the Google model of the Conv. Center is a little off. Something about it just bugs me.

BTW, 3D Warehouse sent me an email saying I can't use Microsoft Virtual Earth textures for my models because of copyright issues. Makes sense. So, I've taken a lot of my models down. I plan to put them back up with my own textures slowly, so I hope you all downloaded them. In any case, all the structures are built already, so they essentially just have to be reclad. But I won't have much time in the coming days, so it may take a while.
