It would look great if they used the concrete detail panels from the old facade to cover one of the interior walls in the lobby as an accent wall. Minus the window opening parts or reuse them with a tiled wall behind and lit from behind around the mullions. Would look so cool.

That's what the road report said but the crane I saw was being installed/removed closer to Burrard on either West Hastings or Pender.

Okay, thanks. I can't figure out what project that might be. This is one area of downtown where I still draw blanks about some locations.

I think I saw a mobile crane installing new A/C device on top of one of the nearby office buildings. Unrelated to this project.

Over-hearing rumblings of a tenant announcement for this project in the near future. Not hearing anything further than that general comment.

I heard some much more detailed rumours surrounding the potential lead tenant and their size (quite large).

If they turn out to be true you guys will be very surprised by who the tenant is. I know I was.

Maybe 510 Burrard?
I think it has undergone some renos.
i.e. I don't think it's dusty rose pink anymore.

Still think we should've kept the heritage building. It wasn't that hard. Here's a version with 16,000sf floorplates

This time I couldn’t agree with you more.

This is one of the largest architectural losses our city has seen in while.

Really wish your proposal was the real one.

Totally agree with you that the old building should be kept and a taller one rising behind and over it. What a waste!

Screw viewcones! That makes me furious.

A much taller building looks so good over there.
