This is anecdotal, but I saw this on City Data. Apparently NIMBYs may have killed the planned "Pittsburgh Flats" 325-unit apartment complex.

Also, regarding the TRYP hotel in Lawrenceville, looking back on nextdoor, while a couple NIMBYs continue to NIMBY, the point at which they could block that development has passed, and construction will begin in a week.
