I updated the first page as well as the development map (it had been awhile). I'm unsure of the status of several projects (mostly whether they're completed/now under construction - not in WPG right now) so let me know what I need to fix.

funnelators look pretty damn cool. I like original designs that make us 'different'.

Portage Ave Brew Works (former 4play) is dead. Will be locating somewhere else instead. Too bad that buidling can't be torn down and better incorporated with Centerpoint

That's too bad though I wished Centrepoint put Glasshouse in that space and done something with Ol'Calcutta.

TV, is this a third concept for the Glasshouse parkade?

^^
A parkade was needed for this development obviously but it is sad, creating a dead zone bordering Eliice Ave and Hargrave, Where foot traffic, retail/commercial was needed. It could look like the Taj Mahal but it still a huge parkade with no street presence. Isn't the lot to the North of the Parkade an LC? Nice..

Better/but obviously not possible at this time.

Funnelators look cool but sort of pointless. Can they display images and video also?

Cant believe 4Play is still not working. Didnt True North try to buy the place? I wonder if Cheater will go back to TN and try to sell and if so, what TN could do with it. How did a sport bar across from the MTSC not work? Ludicrous.

True North owns their own sports bar attached to MTS Centre via skywalk, "Shark Club".

Apparently the lockout is what did in 4Play. Apparently... Must have a pretty thin business plan if a lockout shut your doors..

Their terrible food and service during lunch probably was more of an issue than the NHL lockout.

The story that was making the rounds is that 4Play was on the verge of closing when the return of the NHL was announced. It seems speculation over the up tick in spending near the arena kept them open long enough to blame the lockout rather than looking internally.

It would also seem that the landlord might be asking relatively high rents due to the prime location which is hurting their ability to lease out the space but that is just speculation on my part.
