Haha sorry, I'd certainly share if I could.

Needless to say some very cool architecturally interesting projects coming for the area.

Unfortunately a project designed by BIG is likely not happening now, which is a shame as it was very cool. Maybe one day I will be able to post the renderings.

what ever happened to the BIG project in Toronto? It seemed imminent 6 months ago, but nothing has popped up.

It's still on track, no hurry on it though.

I'm personally surprised no design pics have leaked yet, usually someone blows it by now.

There's an even bigger project than the ones we've already seen? Or is big just a name?

Future Aura

I haven't been doing renderings for a while but a recent photograph by an Urban Toronto member named someMidTowner, inspired me to create one. The original image was huge and so is the rendering. I have included a smaller version below with the original.

Enjoy

Great job Traynor. And hey this tower is so tough to get the height right since nobody really seems to know how tall it may end up being. Good work.

Don't forget that there will also be 10 York, 45 Bay St and 156 Front St and a few other fillers in this image too. This area is going to be totally and radically changed within a few years.

If only they had put another 20 floors on the PWC and Telus towers. Just think how much better this view would be. A little bug bear of mine but one I will have to live with.

The LOGO won't be seen from the highway like pictured in the first rendering because Ten York will block the view.

Cool to see these renderings though 8)

I love these new renderings. Standing at the corner of Bremner Blvd and York St the MLS towers look pretty impressive in height. So these renderings give a real good indication of just how tall the ICEs and One York will be.

I am very excited to see them in a few years time finally finished.

Not to take anything away from Traynor's work, but I think it will be a bit taller than that.

Actually I thought so too, but I thought no one would believe it! I Didn't make the highest floors 15 feet or so, which I think they may be.

That makes more sense. The render suggests that the elliptical portion would be taller. That view will look quite a bit different once Karma, 460 Yonge, and 501 Yonge go up. I can't wait.

Aura is gonna look sick! I forgot how tall that eliptical portion is going to be. As usual, it all comes down to quality materials though; have we seen any of that green glass yet?
