I vguess white is neutral/colourless, so the water will appear bluish. May be hard to keep clean though.

Doesn't the north side also have the same enclosure on the top levels?

Actually Vancouver House and 1550 Alberni might have similar tile for their pools so maybe it's their trademark

After viewing Lexus image, I needed a closer look
I stepped out this morning to take a look, it was so mild out I ended up walking all around downtown for 2 and a half hours

First look at the BMU setup

The roof is taking a while to complete. A lot of custom pieces up there. (not that the rest of the building is any sort of standard anything)

Very nice, thanks!
It also conveniently shows the sites of the neighbouring projects.

Could you tell if there was any construction or work going on there? I just heard some rumours that this project was just halted due to some credit issues with Westbank.

Very quit today (due to the weather?), The tower crane was in a 'weather vane' state until 11:27 am, then went into his pre-work stretch, then idle again (since).

EDIT: On Monday I will setup the camera on The Butterfly for a Live Stream for the day, Start time at 7:15 am

Roof top parts are pretty complex on this one, not complete yet. Zep doing exterior live cast this very moment.

After scrubbing through todays live stream, it looked like a normal day (or what it was like for the past week or 2).
Please do not hesitate on passing on any rumors or knowledge of an activety on this project (rumors, schedule crane disassembly, derrick crane setup, ect...) for me to stream or and capture.

Nothing exciting, just completed the cladding this week (last few pieces went in on Monday) and started the removal of scaffolding on the South-west wing.

That's a weird silvery strip just above the precast.
Maybe to cover a thicker roof slab, but looks sloppy.
I guess they didn't want to make the precast wider, as that would interrupt the consistency(?)

Are you referencing the bit of spandrel section or the mech penthouse cladding?

If the spandrel area, I suspect it will be black tinted glass and indistinguishable.
