Samantha Newlove, a traffic control worker, said the incident happened as concrete was being pumped into a chimney on the building, which burst, toppled over and pushed over a scaffolding tower, pinning workers underneath.
I want to know the math that goes into pouring a 65 foot column of cement into a 100 year-old chimney. Obviously it was being turned into a decorative feature but the base must of been under an incredible amount of pressure.

Don't sales only close when the building is completed and occupancy has been granted? It wouldn't make sense to close on a condo that isn't finished yet.
