Well It's pretty ridiculous that nobody knows what this thing is actually going to look like. And that changes to the design aren't made public was more what I was getting at

If only there were a process called a Development Permit and Building Permit application whereby any member of the public could check for themselves what a completed project is to look like — including any minor changes not significant enough to require a new application.

But no, that would be too simple and logical. It would probably make much more sense to require developers to take out full page ads and to post minor changes on billboards around the city to ensure that the public is aware of every single non-relevant minor change that a project goes through on the way to completion.

We can only hope that such a process gets implemented… and soon.

Thanks for your really constructive comment. Where would this forum be without such insightful minds

There seems to have been significant changes made to the building and yet the info doesn't appear to be easily available. (I can't find anything)

I know it's politically incorrect not LOVE this building, but I tend to agree with you.
The west facade I can handle, the top is even quite nice, but the east facade, with or without the "wood" effect makes me seasick.

I'm surprised the buyers aren't complaining.
I don't think they care that much. This is probably majority offshore property investment, and finding a place to park their cash is more important to them than the "wood" affect.

OK OK you make your point well, and I stand corrected.

Only from a single VERY specific angle (which is where the viewcone was calculated from). Everyone else will be able to see both buildings fine.

Pics by me today:

West side protruding box on the tower is now enclosed.
The proportions of the grid of panes seems to be boxy like the ends of the podium protrusions (i.e. different than the curtain wall).

Wasn't it supposed to be rear projection?
The glass looks darker (or that could be a reflection of the sky) - there could also be a screen planned(?).
