ANYTHING 8-bit is amazing. The fact that it's an elusive cowhale is just the icing on top.

Following photos taken by me today.

The "Orca" as viewed from the "correct" direction:

If you stand at the "wrong" location, you have to use some imagination to figure out what it is:

So now the North-East corner of the West building has the "Drop".
The North-West corner has the "Orca".
The South-West corner has the "Cauldron".
May be another piece of art ("Eagle" or "Totem pole") can be installed at the South-East side near the entrance to make it complete?

The work at the "Cauldron" work site seems to be slow. I don't know how the pool construction can be completed by end of May.

Quite a few retail space at the new Convention Centre have been leased. Anyone know what type of business will that be?

Busy Sunday at Convention Centre. The first cruise ship has arrived and there were 4 different conventions/shows happening at the East and West building.

The first cruise ship that uses the new power plug to draw electricity from BC Hydro's power grid.
Good for the environment!

One problem with the caulron is that when the flame is extinguished (which will be most of the time), the soot stands out and looks a little ugly.

In this location, a restaurant. Most of the leased areas are going to be food and beverage based businesses.

The large restaurant space on the west side of the plaza will have a decent sized patio. Weird grade change from inside to outside though, I imagine there will be lots of tripping.
