Edmonton with the Stantec tower looks really good in every shot now. Crazy the difference one tower makes.

Downtown Ottawa from above the location of the future tallest (65 floors, with a 56 and 23 attached). We're not sure if they are preparing for a groundbreaking or starting construction on the new pedestrian bridge that will eventually connect the new complex with Bayview station Trillium Line.

Downtown. This view will change significantly over the next 5 years (five new residential towers, 2x27, 35, 29, 23 on two city blocks across from the white hotel (Delta Hotel) and all glass office tower (Constitution Square I)).

LeBreton and the Escarpment District. The Central Library will site between the two, on the angle vacant lot.

^ Great pics J.OT13...Kudos..I would still like to get a shot from Billings looking down Bank street. One day perhaps. Ottawa's, stumpy skyline is hard to capture from the ON side, but you managed to gather a few good ones!..

I don't understand how Ottawa is building such tall towers all of a sudden.

There was always a height limit so that no building could be taller than the Peace Tower. Have they gotten away or loosed that recently?

The height limit was only ever for the downtown area, as to not block the Peace Tower.

That's the gist of it. Based on protected view-planes in the traditional downtown. It's like over the last 10 years, Council and developers realized that the view-planes don't effect the rest of the city.

^ More real nice and unique Ottawa shots..Sometimes, I underestimate how eclectic Ottawa's skyline really is when it's all put together..Both Edmonton and Winnipeg have that variety in their respective skylines as well. Obviously Montreal in spades!

Maestria (and 1 Square Philips) won't make it into this POV
