Update from Brook Lenfest

Quote:
Here are some photos of the grillage closest to Chestnut street. Two sections of the steel grillage have been removed but large concrete footings have been found underneath them. This condition is different than what was found adjacent to the dome bldg.

TPBC is working on removing these footings now. If this condition continues we can expect additional time delays.

In Regards to the lead Contaminated soil the last 40 truckloads should be taken out of the hole on Monday. From that point forward we should be hauling only clean soils.

Thanks for the update. Thank you a ton. We just can't catch a break with this project. I like the tenacity of the parent company of the W, to keep this project moving forward.

Go Nova!!!

I wonder if there is demand for high-end residential in this area (Chestnut continues to improve), and if making this part condo would help them recoup some financial losses caused by the delays. May be too late to revamp at this point, though.

That's an amazing pile of steel to be digging out that far down, especially when its unexpected. At least its got some value as scrap! It sounds like they are expecting to have clear digging from here on. But with this hole, who knows.

It looks like the tower crane is going to be located on what was the sidewalk. I can't remember ever seeing this done before

Much like Rocky V, I've never heard of it and don't acknowledge its existence.
