Great pictures!

I've been wondering if they will do any sort of lighting on the North Shore. I had thought that there would be some sort of lighting effect on each of the levels down the South facing side. Other than the podium, it's pretty dark looking at night. Maybe they are still finishing up the inside?

I've wondered that too. It would be nice to see it lighted up someway, especially since its not in the "blue box family" like many of our towers built in the last few years.

I love that angle. It is very deceptive in regards to density, but very cool. This pic is now my new screen saver. If you had to pick Austin's best side to show the world, it would be this angle imo.

^ That seems like a shot from some cop show as it sets the scene (not sure on the terms for filming - sorry!)...big imposing city view, slightly overcast and mysterious - anything can happen... (cue the Law & Order "bum bum")

^ I saw that recently and noticed Krause Springs in the first shot. I grew up going there all the time. Love that place.

I HATE drug company commercials so much that I dive for the remote to either change the channel, turn off the tv, or fast forward. This is one of the first ones I sat through because I was too lazy to reach for the remote. I didn't recognize the water hole in the beginning like drummer, so I didn't know it was shot in Austin. It took a very flattering picture of Austin. It looks like they air brushed the 'artwork' off the train bridge or has the graffiti been covered up by the city prior to the taping or because of the taping? I don't want to start up a debate on the graffiti, I'm just curious if it was there at time of taping and the plaque psoriasis people thought it was more disgusting than the disease they are touting a treatment for...

They just covered it up in the video.

Funny story but I just happened to be walking my dog on the trail when they were filming some of those scenes on the pedestrian bridge. They had me and other passersby stop while they did the scene of them going around the circle ramp. Then they said we can go once they were done and I got on the bridge and they said move to the side so we stopped again on the side and those people with the dog come running by. I'm assuming it was the director that yelled out "cut...okay let's do that again". We were allowed to move on our way while they were getting the actors back into their starting positions, I happened to overhear some other people standing over on the south side of the bridge talking about it and one of them said "they've been there watching them do the same thing over and over again" I thought they were filming a tv show or something not some commercial lol. I didn't know until I saw the commercial and thought why would they need to do that many takes for a couple of seconds of commercial? Lol

You mean to tell me these were actors and not Austinites suffering from plaque psoriasis!?! Man I hate drug company commercials. But those scenes they selected were excellent.

Sometimes folks get very territorial of public spaces when filming. I totally get it, but there are some who go a bit overboard.

FYI, plaque psoriasis is an auto-immune disease very similar to arthritis. It just has different symptoms because it attacks the skin instead of the joints. It may not look pretty, but it's not something you can catch from people who have it, unlike herpes or some other STD.

I hate drug commercials too.

Looove this shot! This has become my favorite view for the skyline in the last 6-8 years. However, I miss a decent view of the Frost from this angle.
