I usually upload all my photos that I want to share here, to imgur, and then share the link. You can also insert the image directly into the forum via the "insert image" button after you upload to imgur.

It may be an "old" building but it's not the "old Indian Affairs building" in the sense that the department used to be housed there. They're still there - albeit under different names.

So, based on how these balconies are shaped, I see 15-20 floor still remain to be built?

There has been a ton of talk about spandrel colour for Icon and I noticed the colour was not clearly visible from street level yet. Likely to change once the building closes in and/or blinds are added. Wait, I mean "window fashions". That just added $1000's to your unit price. Sorry. LOL Colour looks really good to me and especially once blinds with white backing and /or unit lighting starts appearing.

I get what you are saying jitterbug but when I had the chance to look inside the building those three units are likely what I would choose given the massive balconies overlooking Dow's and the experimental farm. Most buildings these days have tiny useless outdoor space and I am an outdoor type of guy.

We plan to make the most of the balconies we will have....relaxing with a glass of wine and looking out over the lake on a summer's day will be grand!

Saw on Saturday that they have finished installing all of the windows in the office space (floors 2 to 4) on the Carling side. Looks good! I wouldn't be surprised if they do the install on the Preston side of those floors once they ramp up again after the holidays.

Thanks to everyone who comments and contributes to this forum. I have learned many new things since I started following and look forward to more as we watch this building evolve. (Had to look up spandrel, LOL!

Balconies, any size, make all the difference. Ours were out of bounds for part of a summer while windows and doors were replaced. All of a sudden my little apartment became microscopic. Terrible not having that extra 40 sq ft outside!

Fantastic photo TMA-1. Looks like the crane needs to go up even more given the lit up Claridge sign is below the top of the building now.

I think the red beacon at the top of the crane, as it stands now, will be approximately the 45th floor and then the mechanical penthouse appears to be equivalent to about 3 floors above that based on the renderings.

Thanks. Yes it the crane has to be lifted at least one more time as someone corrected me few weeks ago when I spectulated it may have reached max after a rise at that time.
