That Montreal tower is better than average, but the podium is a mishmash.

Ok, I see it now. It was very subtle in the pics posted earlier, but these show the design in all its glory.

I'm inclined to agree with the above. The cladding on the tower is great, however the interface with the podium is a bit awkward. I'm sure it looks good in person when the cladding details are more obvious.

I'm sure I saw this design in Manhattan except that it continued throughout the podium and tower. I don't know what they were thinking in Montreal but, less is more wasn't on the list.

Exceptional quality finishes to the rest of us. Standard in Montreal.

Perfect time of day. You can still see the massing of the buildings, the lights on inside and the width and depth of the skyline *chefs kiss*

Anyway, Ottawa has a lovely skyline that captures its essence as a Commonwealth capital situated along a rushing river. Hewers of wood, drawers of water. Peace, order and good government.

Whatever shape is formed by its condominiums is superfluous.

Blue protective film on black panels and white film on blue panels edged with green panel. Think a bad version of google earth globe view

Thanks for the info Shappy.

I don’t mind that white spot building - could have been a more innovative pattern, but it’s probably better than the original state, no?

Not full VIctoria ‘skyline’ shots, but interesting glimpses of downtown and area from perspectives that seem fresh. Relying on good ol’ realtor photos to do the trick.

First off a view from the edge of James Bay opposite Beacon Hill park and looking towards downtown. For a 1971 build looks surprisingly fresh and modern.
