Here's a rendering of what it might look like when the coop tower and office building are complete. I assume we'll see some restaurant patios as well.

Based on that rendering, it looks like there will be a building on the west side of that square? I hope that road loop and parking garage entrance are reconfigured or removed. Looks pretty bad as it is now. Also, hoping that square gets some trees as shown in the rendering.

I do remember reading somewhere that the current garage entrance was only temporary and that the real entrance will be from the tower being built right now

Walked around Zibi tonight and the Park (Pangishimo) is officially open.

The boardwalk section is really nice

Did you see if they have opened the bridge to the War Muesuem? I presume that was the connection they were looking for to connect it to the rest of Zibi.

The bridge was still closed unfortunately.

I just noticed looking at the aerial shots of the new park that it actually has the shape of a bird's head. I don't know if this was done on purpose or if it has any indigenous symbolism?

No trees on that square. I guess they plan to plant some in that pit on the bottom of the picture. It looks way too shallow though.

Looking at the render of the square it appears there will be 5 trees planted on that side, normally I wouldn't be so specific but who ever is in charge of Zibi's renders does an incredible job, the final product is often identical. Though the brick coloring is a bit different.

Looking at the cones in front of the Kanaal building, looks like 4 trees will be planted in front, with a planter for shrubs or flowers near the west end of the plaza.

I'm pretty sure the cones are where the poles are going for the Light string

Yes, and they are scheduled to be installed this week.
