Yes, it's sort of like a chain version of Short Leash with hot dogs and sausages with interesting topping combinations, along with craft beer. I ate once at the Yuma location, and it was pretty good.

They've removed the tarps from the fencing around the new walkway entrance at Park Central. Looks like most of the vegetation is also done. So, hopefully the walkway opens to the public soon. It's really annoying having to walk along next to traffic to get back there.

I'm going to have to make this area/project one of my Sunday excursions.

Which, interestingly enough, there is also a liquor license posted on the former Roosevelt Short Leash space (next to the Nash) for an upcoming 'beer/wine bar.'

Dog Haus is also opening at Scottsdale Quarter, they're a California junk food chain. Everything is made with buttered and toasted King's Hawaiian buns with a lot of cream sauces. It's not an every day meal.

So that Wilderness Brewery is open now on Roosevelt?

I thought it was still under construction? It wasn't even halfway completed when I walked by there last week.

Edit: Just looked it up and it is open. I must be misunderstanding this project. I thought there was supposed to be 3 or 4 levels attached to this development? At least, that's what the renderings showed on the construction banners when it was fenced up.

I asked about the brewery when I saw those banners as well, but upon closer inspection it was just the architect showing off his work.

Well that's a bummer. I thought that would have been a pretty good looking building for that location.

It's not a bummer when you look at what the brewery has done to engage the street. That space is a huge boost for the neighborhood.

Oh yes! The biergarten is amazing and the official "grand opening" is tomorrow.

Have been there twice already. The place is pretty solid. The communal tables on the inside make it feel like a beerhall and the outside patio seemlessly connects the street. Wasn’t sure how it would be without an entrance off of 2nd St (turns it’s back on the street which is becoming our drinking street) but it compliments Roosevelt very nicely.

Also, there’s an ice cream shop opening next to Genuwine in Union @ Roosevelt called Fatty Daddy’s.

I didn't say Wilderness Brewery was a bummer. I said it was a bummer they didn't build the 3 floor building. As good as Wilderness Brewery may be, an additional few levels could have done even more.

So here are the details and renderings of the additional adjoining project by Metrowest, next to McKinley Court. It is called "Residences on 2nd". I'm assuming it will be on the empty parcel on NWC of 2nd Ave and McKinley.

These townhomes look similar to Townhomes on 3rd and McKinley Row.

Park Central Update

All the construction fencing has been removed around Park Central. You can now walk freely all the way through everything. The new sidewalk entrance will be available to walk on this weekend according to the construction workers. They've done a fantastic job on this project. Worth checking out.

Update pics coming soon...

The SWC has a large apartment building on it.
