Still to small for a Costco unless they remove the parking pad buildings and even then might not be large enough when you consider the Gas Pumps.

yes, and the parking lot is maybe 20% of what you would see at a typical Costco (which is, I think, 120K-150K sq foot)

Yea. 80k sq ft is much smaller than the other costcos in London. If Costco ever did put in something at that intersection it’d have to be on the north east side.

the highbury Huron walmart is pretty close to 80k sq ft.

Wonder who owns the Johnnys restaurant and farmland behind on the NE corner? That block is more then big enough for a Walmart or Costco.

Land must be worth a fortune.

The Pittao family owned a lot of the land on the northeast side but I think it might have been further back where Blackwell Blvd is now (that I think their company built a lot of the houses). Not sure if they own or owned right to the corner or not.

That is small for a Walmart, unless they felt like a similar size to Northland was all that was needed, but I can't see that making sense to leave there for another smaller footprint. Argyle and Hyde Park are well north of 100,000 sq ft, probably closer to 130k. I just don't see Walmart staying in Northland, not sure where they would replace it with if not this corner though.

I'm also curious about that 22k space beside the "pet store" beside Dollarama.

It's weird to go back and see the siteplan posted on here a few months ago and then the one yesterday. Missing are Starbucks (no surprise), Tim Hortons, Kal Tire, Master Mechanic, the Circle K carwash, Panera, Jersey Mikes, Sugar Thumb Bakery, I Do Vape, 6Ixty Wings, St Louis Bar and KFC. Not sure if I missed any. Wonder if that is just laziness on their part with the siteplan update or if they actually lost all of them?

It was just weird that they built the one first, and then started the McDonalds so much later. I'm sure there was a reason but it was strange anyway

Was delivering supplies to the new Ingersoll McDonalds today and asked the foreman if they were going to be open before the one at Fanshawe in this thread. He said this one doesn't even have all its permits yet. Sounds like a bit of competition between the 2 foremen, he said Ingersoll should be open mid November. He also said the old Ingersoll McDonalds downtown is also staying open. He also mentioned a second one for Tillsonburg as well.

Looks like Stacked is coming along quickly. Dollarama looks like they have the shelves stocked inside. Osmows looks complete.

Cobb’s has their sign up on the drive thru unit. The one kfc was slotted for. But looks like workers going into the unit Cobb’s has per the site plan. So I was wondering which unit they’re going to take. No idea if they’d ever do a drive thru.

Cool. They have a morning special as well during the weekdays.

Osmows has finally opened. And dollarama opened two days ago.
