Because apparently Destination V has to have 2 of everything,

Pizza Salvatoré is opening on Feb 7th.

It would be nice if they had two SQDC. Between the limited hours and the lines, I'll often just drive to downtown Ottawa or Westboro.

LOL, or another mattress store!

I'm hoping a restaurant/bar opens up to watch sports so I don't have to trek to Ottawa or Le Cage.

For the next phase, I predict:

- Another realtor - maybe the Arsenault bros (because Marty Waite is there).
- gas station (because there is only Ultramar, and we need two of everything)
- A Michaels, because of the high crafting demand in Aylmer.

There doesn't seem to be any room for medium format box stores like Michael's, so far it's all small format and space is running out. I was hoping for an Adonis, but no way they could fit that on the remaining land.

Two Mr. Puffs is too much for this area of town. Pretty sure Aylmer is all puffed out.

Apparently pet food is a priority on the plateau.

That one is actually so quiet, especially compared with the one by Boston Pizza.

Destination V has turned into a car-dependent food court so gradually, I hardly even noticed!

BarBurrito opening soon

I don't understand the line up at that Starbucks. Is Starbucks coffee that good you will waste x number of minutes waiting while the A&W drive thru next door is empty?

People have ZERO patience on the road, but will wait 30 minutes+ in line for a coffee.

Pro-tip, often quicker to park the car and go inside for your order. Saves time and gas.

Haha. That doesn't work at the Tim Horton's on Front.

(sorry if any readers work there)

I miss A&W. They had the best deals going with their online coupons. When inflation kicked into high gear, they stopped offering the good coupons and almost doubled their prices. I haven't been there since, it's a total rip off now.

I agree. I stopped there this weekend for three trios for me and my boys on the way to ski at Mont Cascades and it was 45 bucks.

Side note - I hope Mont Cascades rebuilds their burned down chalet soon.

Aren't they all? The only burgers and fries that are still quite affordable are McDonald's basic Cheeseburger and Small Fry. Those are surprisingly cheap. Probably cheaper to double up on those instead of upgrading to a Quarter Pounder and Medium Fry.

A&W is significantly more expensive than Mcdonald's, Harvey's, Wendy's now.
